This product performs very well -- almost identical to the OEM Pentax flashes that are much more expensive. The autozoom TTL head is "internal", which is actually a very nice feature, especially if you use add-on diffusers. Even the focus assist light actually works and does a good job of assisting with focus in dim/dark environments. The built-in diffuser and bounce card is a nice touch, too. This device does not support the Pentax wireless feature of the newer DSLRs, but it does have a built-in slave trigger that works very well (better than previous slave trigger systems I've used). The flash is easy to use in manual mode, too. It appears at first glance that using it in manual mode might be tedious or difficult, but everything makes sense even without reading the documentation.
I would highly recommend this flash to anyone with a Pentax camera and on a budget that doesn't allow for paying more for the OEM flash than you did for the new DSLR camera body (which simply goes against the very grain of my soul).
